9.30 am, Moscow, Russia - THE RUSSIAN ANTIQUARIAN BOOKSELLERS ARE PREPARING FOR THE GREAT DAY

The Russian rare book dealers, members of the Russian Guild of Antiquarian Booksellers, will celebrate UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day in Moscow's largest bookstore:  Biblio-Globus. Six members of the Guild, including the Litfond Auction House, the Moscow State University of Printing Arts and the booksellers Biblionne, Bookvica and Sredi Kollektsionerov will be participating. Highlights of the programme will certainly be professor Olga Tarakanova's talk for children on bookbinding and the talks of prominent Russian bibliophiles and book artists Aleksei Vengerov, Victor Goppe, Mikhail Pogarsky and Valerii Korchagin. At the end there will be a public auction of books about books.
